Great Detangler for afro-textured hair i have kinky afro texture hair. my big thing is moistures, detangles and minimizing breakage. i was skeptical at first about this line because it seems gimmicky, but i heard alot about it on YouTube from alot of curly, kinky hair girls. I use this as a detangler after i wash my hair and melts my tiny curls and helps cut done on detangling time while reducing breakage. i don't know if the purpose of the conditioner was to detangling, but it works!! Ehhhh I heard that Herbal Essences tested their products on animals and they don't write that on the labels, hurtful!!!! i can't support that Anyway, the shampoo damages my hair pretty badly but not the coconut hydrating conditioners which smells amazing!!!! idk i've use better conditioners where i don't need as much at a time the scents of the conditioners are amazing though, but the products don't work as great as i expected, not as mousturizing and healthy for my hair, doesn't protect split ends but makes my hair smell good. Best Conditioner As a black woman, I was hesitant about trying the shampoo and conditioner. My daughter had it in her shower and I was out of my usual product. I took a chance and glad I did. The shampoo made my hair squeaky clean and the shampoo gave me body and softness that I didn't think was possible. I normally over condition my hair with two different products but I just let Herbal Essence conditioner stay on for 10-15 mins and my hair was soft and manageable. Thanks!!!!!! October 27, 2010

Excellente' I am a black african american women and I have been natural for about 5 months now, it has been an interesting journey trying to find a product that works for my hair. I have a 3b,3c hair type and it fine and very curly. This product is awesome, it leaves my hair so soft and it really defines my curls leaving my hair very moisturized and frizz free.
